CALL TO ORDER
President called meeting to order at 8:30 am
OLD BUSINESS
NEW BUSINESS
-Core Values :
- Serving : We give our time & talents to meet the needs of our school community
-Supporting : We stand beside our teachers, staff & families to help every child succeed
-Strengthening : We build connections that make our school & community stronger together
-Staying connected with our platform, Membership toolkit. 61 members
Board Positions:
-Heather Seay & Tiffany Potts have switched roles
-Heather is fundraising & Tiffany is secretary
-Budget :
-$15, 200 as of right now.
-Stay tuned for a vote by email to adjust the amount for our reserve
-Right now it holds $12,000 for future years, we’d like to see it go down to $4500. What we raise in a current year should be spent for all to enjoy. Future years can hold other fundraisers or sponsors to earn.
*Question was asked: "Where will the additional funds be utilized for?"
-Future goals: walking path, bench, etc.
-There will be an email coming out for members to vote on the reserve account.
-Signups :
- School store (Tues & Thurs)
- Picture day sign up is live
-Stay tuned for additional signups for upcoming events
-Calendar:
-Veteran’s Day Performance is now pushed 1 day ahead to Monday, November 10, 2025. Specific times & details will be announced by admin. Decorating for Veteran’s Day - Details to come from PTO.
-Additional dates were adjusted on calendar: Makeup Picture/Class pic is on Thurs, October 16, 2025 - Signup is open!
-Red Ribbon Week // 50th Day of School = Oct 16
-PTO is stocking the lounge with donations from local businesses around the area with additional purchases. Stocking the lounge is set up to show appreciation to all staff. If you would like to donate, please email the pto email.
**PTO would like to make the “Character Parade” fun with a balloon arch. If anyone is interested in making one, please reach out!
-Boo grams:
-Online purchases only beginning October 20th, ending 29th with delivery on 10/31. PTO *might* set up 1 day for cash purchases, details TBD.
*Volunteer opportunity
-Shirts for students :
-There was a delay on finalizing due to logos, but they should be ready the end of this week or next. The goal will be students have their t-shirts for the 1st grade field trip is our goal.
-Yearbook :
-New email to send pictures to: Sceyearbook2526@gmail.com
-Tiffany is creating a team to help, reach out if you’d like.
-Laken & Mrs. Mathews expressed lets not compare ourselves to other PTO’s, lets do our best for Stewart Creek. Lets be proud & encourage others to keep doing what we’ve been doing & we will continue to grow.
